Ken Schlenker, is an Associate Professor of Chaplaincy and the Director, Chaplain Program of the Grace School of Theology and the Founder/President of CAREForce. Ken graduated from Talbot School of Theology, BIOLA University with a M.Div. degree and from Southern Illinois University with a BA in Health Care Management. Ken served as a Corpsman in the US Navy. Ken has spent over 30 years in ministry--as a Pastor, a Chaplain and in providing crisis intervention to first responder populations. Ken created the California Law Enforcement Chaplain Curriculum and the Practical Chaplaincy course, now offered through Grace School of Theology. Ken is an instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and the Resiliency Science Institute, Inc. Ken is a trainer and Chaplain for the Houston Police Department and a Chaplain with the Montgomery Sheriff’s Department. Ken is a Diplomate for the National Center for Crisis Management and the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and is Board Certified in Crisis Chaplaincy, Emergency Response and Stress Management. Ken lives in Conroe, Texas, with his bride of 39 years, Brenda, and his son.
