We CAN help stop Teen Suicide
Suicide is real. Suicide does not discriminate. Suicide affects more families of teens today than ever before. The day the Hess family lost their beautiful daughter, Cassidy, to suicide just a few days before Christmas in 2015 could not have come any more of a shock to them. There were no warning signs as Cassidy fell victim of the Silent Epidemic of teenage suicide. We can stop this ... we need to BREAK THE SILENCE, remove the stigma, and begin the necessary conversations about mental health, depression ... and suicide.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE...
TOGETHER WE CAN SAVE LIVES!
CASSIDY'S STORYCassidy is our beautiful 16 year old daughter who tragically lost her life to suicide December 20, 2015. Cassidy was the happiest, funniest, most free-spirited person you would ever meet. She enjoyed life to the fullest... she was fearless! She was a cheerleader, a loyal friend and a loving daughter. She had incredible friends and a supporting family who loved her unconditionally. Cassidy had her whole world ahead of her ... yet she fell victim to suicide.

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?
Sometimes everything looks good on the outside, but it’s entirely different on the inside. If we are going to prevent suicide, we are all going to have to look up, reach out and start meaningful conversations. Simply ask, “are you ok?”
Our Joined for Hope School Clubs are learning how to start the conversation. We are proud to present our first Public Service Announcement featuring some of our Cavs Joined for Hope at The Woodlands College Park High School, produced by our friends at Reflective Media Productions.
