Danielle Rapp spent 35 years as an Educator in Conroe ISD. She is a graduate of Conroe High School, Tyler Jr. College, and Sam Houston State University with a degree in Speech Communications and Dance.
While serving in Conroe ISD, Danielle taught Speech, Theater Arts and directed the Knox Jr. High Gingham Girls from 1981- 1991. She then went on to direct the Conroe High School Golden Girls from 1991 – 1998. While at TWHS/McCullough she taught Communications Applications and Teen Leadership, and then went on to help open The Woodlands College Park High School. During her time at TWCP she developed the Teen Leadership classes and enjoyed her passion of empowering youth with the skills needed to be confident in who they are, and challenging them to become their best. Along with two additional CISD leaders, Dr. Don Stockton appointed her to form Conroe ISD Summer Leadership Academy for rising 9th graders. Students were selected from each Jr. High in the district and attended for a week of leadership training and interaction with community leaders. Additionally, Mrs. Rapp was named Humanitarian of the Year, and Teacher of the Year at several schools and received the honor of Secondary Teacher of the Year for Conroe ISD. She still enjoys being in the classroom and with kids while serving as a Substitute Teacher in the district.
Currently, her ‘Act 2’ job is with the Flippen Group working with Educators. She is a Leadership Strategist and Capturing Kids’ Hearts Facilitator that visits schools across America and connects with Superintendents, Principals, Staff and Students. The Capturing Kids’ Hearts process is built on the power of growing relationships and shared leadership that transcends all levels of a school developing a culture and climate that nurtures success. “If you have a kids’ heart, you can have their mind.” -Flip Flippen
