T.A.F.E. Club gives CJH club National Recognition

We are so proud of the T.A.F.E. (Texas Association of Future Educators) club at CPHS!! Their presentation in the “Inside our Schools” competition made it to the national level!! They chose to highlight the Cavs Joined for Hope club (CJH) with the teen suicide prevention and awareness movement the club initiated at College Park High School. They shared Cassidy’s story and how it continues to touch so many lives. They created a 5 minute video and a 5 minute presentation. They competed this past weekend with schools across the nation … and they won 3rd place!!!! We are beyond proud of this group of outstanding ladies!! You have chosen to bring national attention to a taboo but very important topic! Teen suicide prevention and awareness should be addressed in EVERY school at EVERY level!
